David Goodwin, M.D., M.S.H.A., F.A.A.P.
Since 2006, Dr. Goodwin has been Associate Medical Director for Commonwealth Neonatology. Additionally, he serves as Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland as well as Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia.
Dr. Goodwin is a retired US Air Force Colonel. He served in Okinawa, Japan for many years, acting in a number of capacities including Director for Medical Services, USNH-Okinawa and as head of the Department of Neonatology.
He received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Duke University, a a Doctor of Medicine from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland, and a Master of Science in Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University.
