Bonnie Makdad, M.D.

Dr. Bonnie Makdad is a founding member of Commonwealth Neonatology and Director of Neonatology at Bon Secours Richmond Health System. She was an assistant professor of Pediatrics at Virginia Commonwealth University’s Medical College of Virginia and the University of Kansas Medical Center. She completed her pediatric training at the University of Maryland Hospitals and her fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal medicine at the Medical College of Virginia.

Dr. Makdad is a member of the Richmond Academy of Medicine, a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, a member of the Richmond Pediatric Society and serves on the boards of the Central Virginia Health Network and Commonwealth Parenting Center.
