Theresa Murray, M.D., M.P.H.
Dr. Theresa Murray will be joining Commonwealth Neonatology in October 2008. She is an Assistant Professor of Neonatal Medicine at VCU Health Center, the Director of the NICU CHiLD (Children’s Health, Learning and Development) program at the VCU Health Center and a member of the VCU Pediatric Palliative Care Medical Team. Prior to that she was a staff pediatrician at Washington Physician Services Organization in Washington, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Murray has received various honors and awards including the Outstanding Teacher Award at Washington Hospital Family Practice Residency Program. She has received a number of grants from organizations such as the Ronald McDonald House Charities and the National Institutes of Child Health and Development Neonatal Research Network.
She received her M.P.H. from the University of Rochester in New York and her M.D. and B.A. from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.
