Bangalore Suresh, M.D.
Dr. Bangalore Suresh joined Commonwealth Neonatology in May 2005 and works primarily at Mary Immaculate Hospital in Newport News, as well as St. Mary’s Hospital. He joined our group after serving as a neonatologist with Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital. He was an assistant professor of pediatrics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine – Montefiore Medical Center, and an attending neonatologist at Albert Einstein College of Medicine – Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx Municipal Hospital and north Central Bronx Hospital in Bronx, New York.
He completed a fellowship in neonatal – perinatal medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and his residency in pediatrics at the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey. He is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics.Dr. Suresh has been involved with teaching throughout his career and has written and presented on a number of topics related to the challenges faced by premature infants.
