Karen Wharton, M.D.
Dr. Karen Wharton has been with Commonwealth Neonatology since 2002. She was an instructor in pediatrics at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island prior to joining our practice.
Dr. Wharton practiced nursing for over ten years before returning to school and receiving her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia, where she also performed her residency. She completed her fellowship in neonatology at Brown University.
