Joan Oberle, M.S.N., N.N.P.

Joan Oberle is a founding partner of Commonwealth Neonatology. Previously, she served at Henrico Doctors Hospital and St. Mary’s Hospital as a neonatal nurse practitioner. As Vice President, Director of Nurse Practitioners, she oversees the scheduling for both the neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners, serves as student preceptor, oversees staff nurse education as well as parent education, and heads up staff development. Additionally, she attends deliveries, assesses, stabilizes and resuscitates in the delivery room, and assesses and manages patients in the NICU and PCN in collaboration with the neonatologist.
