Debra Owens, M.S.N., N.N.P.
Debra Owens, M.S.N., N.N.P. has been a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with Commonwealth Neonatology since 2001. In addition to caring for sick and at-risk infants, she works in collaboration with subspecialties including pediatric surgery, neurology, and orthopedics. She also works closely with community pediatricians for in-house consultative services for newborns.
Most recently, she worked in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit at the University of Virginia Health Systems in Charlottesville, Virginia. Before that, she worked at the Newborn Intensive and Intermediate Care Units at the Medical College of Virginia Hospitals in Richmond.
